"I love the onions and the peanuts, and the chili is literally amazing," lauded Tessa Maud, an 18-year-old US snowboarder at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. The onions are from Zhangqiu district of Jinan, which has been dubbed the "home of green onions".
“我喜欢大葱和花生，辣椒也很棒！”18 岁的美国单板滑雪运动员泰莎·莫德对北京冬奥会的美食赞不绝口。她口中的大葱就来自素有“大葱之乡”之称的济南章丘区。

Jinan dancers shine at intl hip-hop event
Four hip-hop dancers from Jinan attended an online international hip-hop exchange activity via a video on Jan 22. The activity was hosted by Jinan's sister-city of Yamaguchi, Japan and invited nearly 80 dancers from around the world.
1月22日，来自济南的四位街舞代表通过视频参加了中日韩西四国线上街舞交流会。该活动由济南的友好城市日本山口市主办，邀请了来自世界各地的近80位舞者。

Chinese ancient culture characteristics
A train along Metro Line 3 in Jinan featuring a number of cultural design elements made its debut on Feb 8. Historic stories related to Shun, a legendary monarch in ancient China, were presented to passengers in comic book form.
2月8日，在济南轨道交通3号线地铁站，一辆以舜文化为主题的“泉城清风号”列车首次亮相。在列车的48个车门上，大家耳熟能详的典故以卡通漫画的形式展现，生动地讲述大舜一生的传奇故事。

Featuring the active involvement of children in Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province, many intangible cultural heritage activities are scheduled to promote their protection and inheritance from Jan 25 to March 4.
1月25日至3月4日是“山东省非物质文化遗产月”。近日，非遗文化月的传统文化展在印象济南·泉世界举行，现场多种非遗文化表演者中不少是中小学生。

The former residence of Zhang Caicheng (1868-1934), a famous Jinan entrepreneur, was decorated with over 10,000 fake rose blooms, creating a "rose waterfall" that attracted crowds of visitors looking to visit and take pictures. Such a romantic idea!
近期，位于济南经三路老商埠的张采丞故居被万余枝玫瑰绢花装扮，吸引众多市民前来打卡。在老建筑西面，一条“玫瑰瀑布”从二楼倾泻而下，带来强烈的视觉冲击。
